Terms of Service
Last updated:
These terms explain the rules for using Invoxa. By using the website or creating an account you agree to them. We've kept them short and readable; if anything is unclear, email us.
1. The service
Invoxa provides an online invoice generator and, for registered users, tools to save invoices and clients, send invoices by email, and track payments. We may improve, change or discontinue features over time. If we discontinue a paid feature, we'll give reasonable notice.
2. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep your password secure.
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract.
3. Plans and billing
The Free plan lets you create and download invoices and save up to 5 invoices per month and 3 clients. Pro is a paid subscription, billed monthly or yearly in advance. Current prices are shown on the pricing page.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which also handles applicable sales tax or VAT. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. If you're unhappy within 30 days of your first payment, contact us for a refund. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
4. Your content
You own the invoices, client details, logos and other content you add. You grant us a limited permission to store, process and display that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to generate a PDF or show an online invoice to the client you share it with).
You are responsible for the accuracy of your invoices, including tax rates, tax IDs and any legal wording required in your country. Invoxa does not provide legal, tax or accounting advice; templates and guides are general information only.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Invoxa to:
- Create fraudulent, fake or misleading invoices, or impersonate another business.
- Send spam or unsolicited emails through the service.
- Break the law or infringe anyone's rights.
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the service.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
6. Branding on free invoices
Invoices and public invoice pages created on the Free plan may include a small “Made with Invoxa” footer. Pro removes it.
7. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Invoxa available and your data safe, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We recommend keeping your own copies of important invoices (you can download PDFs at any time, and Pro users can export CSV).
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Invoxa is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or unpaid invoices. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Ending your account
You can stop using Invoxa and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. After termination we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If changes are significant, we'll notify you by email or in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Invoxa after that means you accept the new terms.
